Robert Alan Chase, 88, of Oklahoma City, passed away on October 11, 2020. He was born in Oklahoma City on April 20th, 1932. He was a 1951 graduate of Oklahoma Military Academy in Claremore, Oklahoma. He spoke French fluently and served with distinction as a 1st Lieutenant in the U.S. Army in France. He received a BA in English from the University of Oklahoma.
He married Rosemarie Chase, née Dittmer, of Haffkrug, Germany on December 17, 1970 in Los Angeles, California. They moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico before returning to Oklahoma City in 1973. Alan was the founder and president of Chase Properties, LLC where he worked in Oil & Gas and Real Estate.
Alan was a devoted father and husband. He loved his wife and children dearly and worked selflessly to support them at every opportunity. He was a passionate seeker of Christ and shared his spiritual journey with others. He traveled the world when he was young, enjoyed being creative, and was a natural entrepreneur. He was filled with boundless optimism for life and deeply loved his country. He enjoyed nature, long walks, beautiful music, and time with his family. He will be forever missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Rosemarie Chase, his children, Christopher and Robin Chase, his grandchildren, Christian, Austin, and Amelia Chase, his sister, Beverly Chase Shaw, his nieces Dyan Shaw Lambeth, Dana McBride Agar and Chase McBride, and his nephews Keith Kern and Kyle Kern. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Noe Chase and Jessamine Bernice Chase. A private, family only, funeral service is scheduled for October 17, 2020 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Edmond, OK.
