He was born in Oklahoma City OK on October 30, 1944 to parents Doyle and Blanche Glazier. Richard graduated at Edmond Memorial and then went on to receive his master’s degree in Education from UCO. He married Judy Mathis on July 12, 2003.
Richard had a career in photography and art. He ran his own business Rich Photo and freelanced for many years. Other accomplishments where that he was a Sports Photographer at OSU and also taught Art and Photography at UCO. He had a passion for being out in nature hunting and fishing or just enjoying Gods creation around him. He was very talented in photography and art, and truly had a passion for teaching. He helped to give care for his grandmother, and then later was the caregiver for his mom and wife.
He was survived by his daughters Valorie Daniels and her husband Michael, Ruth-Anne McFadden and her husband Patrick; Grandchildren, Michaela and Koltyn Daniels, Gage and Keaton McFadden; Brother, Danny and his wife Karen Glazier; Former spouse, Marsha Glazier; Nieces and nephews Tracy and Mathew Porter and their 3 children, Scott and Jamie Glazier and their 3 children, Heather and Franko Munoz and there 7 children, Allison and Jarod Moore and their 6 children, and Robyn. As well as stepchildren, Theresa and Andy Mcgriff and 3 children, Brooke and Shane Redmerski and 4 children, Beth and Rick Pope and 4 children, and Jon and Charity and their 2 children.
Richard was proceeded in death by his parents Doyle and Blanche Glazier, and his wife Judy Glazier.
A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Memorial Park Funeral Home.
