Fuller, Raymond Browning, 92, passed away on April 17, 2010. Raymond was born July 18, 1917 in Roxboro, North Carolina to James Henry and Ethel E. (Bradshar) Fuller. He made his Country proud by giving 31 years to the U.S. Air Force, serving in both WWII and Korea. One of his greatest pastimes was his love for Golf. In 1966, he won the Golf Championship for the Air Force and retired the same year. Raymond decided that after his Air Force retirement, he would then give the MWC Fire Dept. 18 years as a dispatcher. He also enjoyed sitting in his sunroom watching the wildlife, horse racing, and he had his pilot’s license and loved to fly.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Ray Fuller, Jr.; four sisters and two brothers. Survivors include his loving wife of 11 years, Retha; children, Mark Fuller and wife Vicki, Candy Hearn and husband Pat, Chuck and Scott Fuller, Georgia Boling; daughter-in-law, Peggy Fuller; step children, Randall Smith and wife Julie, Raymond Smith and wife Jeanie, Dale Smith and wife Kathy; grandchildren, Mark Jr., Torie, Jenifer, Kerry, Kim, Bryan, Amanda, Regina, Shawn, Marina, Raymond, Step-grandchildren, Chris, Angie, Dustin, Lindsay; 15 great-grandchildren and one on the way.
The family has requested in lieu of flowers, that memorial donations can be made to the charity of your choice. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel. Interment will be at 2:00 p.m. in the Ft. Sill National Cemetery.
