Edmond “Randel” Collins, age 81 took his flight to heaven on July 24, 2024. Randel was born in Cloudy, Oklahoma to Joe Harold Collins and Vera Estelle Butler Collins on April 3, 1943. Randel was in the truck tire business for most of his life. He started Collins Tire Company in 1982 and closed the business in 2005.
Randel loved anything outdoors including hunting, fishing, motorcycles, and riding ATV’s. "Another of Randel's favorite things was having his morning coffee on the back porch and sitting out front in the evening visiting with special neighbors. He was referred to by the neighbors as "the waiver" because he waived at everyone that drove by". Randel was a unique person, and some called him bigger than life and he was loved by many. His large family meant everything to him, and he went out of his way to stay in touch with them. Randel also loved his church family at Crestview Baptist Church and served many roles within the church. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.
He is survived by his wife Toni Collins of OKC, OK, daughter Kelli Beall and husband Lonnie of Choctaw, OK, son Matthew Collins of Yukon, OK, granddaughters Allison Beall of Choctaw, OK and Emma Crandall of Yukon, OK, sister Sue Espinosa of MWC, OK, brother Shelby Collins and wife Terri of Eufaula, OK, sister Marcia Patton and husband Jim of Ovilla, TX, brother Donnie Collins of MWC, OK, sister Linda Reasoner, and husband Randy of Meeker, OK and countless special nieces, nephews and cousins. Randel was preceded in death by his parents Joe Collins and Vera Collins.
