Phyllis Ann Martin, 67, passed away on June 11, 2011. Phyllis was born April 26, 1944 in McAlester, OK to Lester Lee and Elta Renee (Bickle) Powell. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, photography, sewing, raising kids, and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; infant sister, Janice Powell; and Chihuahua, Angel. Survivors include her children; Michael Powell (Elizabeth Garner), Gregory D. Martin-Courtney (Melissa Epley), Deonna Pigg (William), Angela Martin (Lee Broom), Marcario Martin (LaTosha Bush); brothers, Jerry Powell (Linda Sue), Donald Powell (Jan); grandchildren, Brittni, Kristen, Barbara, William, Arian, big Paige, Lauren, Kaleb, Mariah, lil’ Paige, Brandon, Tate, Alexandria, Aliyah, Gabby, Amelia, Junie, Elijah, Marcario Jr, La’Ryah; and two great-grandbabies, Wyatt & Lyrik.
Visitation will begin on Wednesday 6/15 at 5p.m. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 17, 2011 at the Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
