Peggy Geraldine Laffoon

Peggy Geraldine (Alexander) Laffoon, 89, died by natural causes on December 2, 2020, at home while with her family. She was born September 25, 1931, in Stratford, Oklahoma, the daughter of Hugh and Gertrude Alexander.

Peggy was a homemaker her entire adult life. She loved her family and that is where her focused remained the majority of the time. She enjoyed cooking, playing with, and taking care of her grandkids and always watching TBN (Trinity Broadcasting Network). She witnessed for the Lord for the past 60 plus years. She even baptized many of her grandchildren and continued to preach the gospel. She married the love of her life Paul Leroy Laffoon on August 23, 1948 and remained married for the next 51 years until his death in 1999.

She was predeceased by her husband Paul, parents Hugh and Gertrude, brothers Carl & Junior, sister Thelma, daughter Teresa, granddaughter Tori and Great Granddaughter Hope as well as many other distant family members. She is survived by daughter Paula Jones and husband Gary of Luther OK., son Terry Laffoon and wife Debbie of Tuttle, OK., son in law Jim Birk of OKC., OK., 8 grandchildren Crystal, Carl, Shawna, Sissy, Shelly, Michael, Gary Paul, Tommy and 28 great grandchildren, 9 great-great grandchildren, and multiple nieces and nephews.

A service of remembrance will be held at Advantage Funeral Home 7720 S. Pennsylvania Oklahoma City, OK 73159 Viewing Monday December 7th from 2:00pm to 8:00pm and Funeral Services Tuesday December 8th at 10:00am.
