Patrick John Bishop

Patrick “Pat” John Bishop was born March 22, 1958 in Des Moines, Iowa to loving parents Lawrence Elvin Bishop and Mae Luella Ankrum Bishop. The family was made complete when his brother Michael Lee Bishop was born. Patrick graduated high school and soon started his career as an Entrepreneur in Sales.

Pat was self-driven and passionate about his work and constantly pushed those around him to do the same.

Pat lived in Texas before moving back to Iowa in 1994 prior to settling in Oklahoma in 1997.

On October 10, 2008, Pat committed his love to Michelle Ranjo and the couple enjoyed close to 15 years together. He was a great husband and an amazing father, a true family man. If you ever asked Pat what he truly loved most in life he would say his daughters and wife.

Pat loved getting together with family and friends, there was never a dull moment together while reminiscing on happy and funny memories. His perfect day would be spending the day without pain and surrounded by family and friends having good conversations while listening to Christian Gospel or Country music in the background.

Pat showed his family how to be confident and stay strong with faith. His favorite color was blue, a color that is a true testament to who he was as a person. The color blue represents sincerity, stability, and loyalty, he will be remembered as a truly honest man.

Pat was preceded in death by his parents Lawrence and Mae Luella Bishop.

Pat’s life will continue to be celebrated and cherished by his wife, Michelle Ranjo-Bishop, daughters, Amanda Lucas of Oklahoma City, OK, Sarah Diane Barber Akin and husband, Thomas of Washington, D.C., Tia Nicole Bishop Ackley and husband, Derek of Bethany, OK, and Summer Raine Bishop of Edmond, OK, brother, Michael Lee Bishop and wife, Ginger of Edmond, OK, three grandchildren, Laurie, Laylyn, Abbigael Rose, and nephews Bradley and Michael Bishop, and his long lasting childhood friend Randy Lippert of Iowa.
