Norma worked and retired from Montgomery Ward Department Store, of Oklahoma City, for more than 30 years. She began her career as a sales woman and worked her way up to Purchasing Agent, Sales Manager, and Department Manager in the Fabrics Department. She made “modeling” TV appearances, demonstrating her skills as a dress maker and as a fabrics manufacturing agent.
Norma easily made friends with everyone she met and formed lasting relationship wherever she went. She loved reading, decorating, sewing, crocheting and gardening. She loved teaching others these same skills. She was always willing to take on new challenges and adventures. During her many trips and vacations she participated in various activities ranging from dancing, fishing, water rafting and golfing. She “loved” to play golf and was a member of the “Hole in One” Club.
She loved her pet Bichon dogs, Roger and Jasper, and was always more than willing to talk to them and show them off when possible.
