Nancy Ruth Fisher was born on September 23, 1945 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to parents Ruth (Wooden) and George W. (Bill) Fisher.
Nancy passed away on February 18, 2020 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. In 1963, Nancy graduated Harding High School. She attended La Sierra College in Riverside, California and later studied music at Oklahoma City University and the University of Oklahoma. Nancy was a very accomplished concert pianist, and competed in the 1966 Miss Oklahoma Universe pageant (a preliminary for the Miss U.S.A. pageant). Nancy went on to work in Washington, DC as a congressional aid for a Texas Congressman for few years, and later worked in California as an Administrative Professional. She returned to Oklahoma and eventually came to reside again in the historic Edgemere Park house built by her parents where she grew up. Nancy will be sorely missed by all of those close to her.
Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, and brother George W. (Bill) Fisher, Jr. She is survived by her first cousins, Rhonda (Wooden) Collini and John (Bo) Wooden, second cousin, Dean Wooden, and several other cousins, too many to be named.
