Mary was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on July 13, 1927 to the late Angeline & John Katrichis. She Moved to Oklahoma City from Wisconsin in 1990. She was married to the late John Pappas on June 14, 1953. Mary retired from the Elmbrook School District in Brookfield, Wisconsin after 19 years of service. Mary was active in the Greek Orthodox Church in Wisconsin & Oklahoma. She received her 50 year recognition from the Eastern Stars in 2003.
Mary is survived by son Nicholas (Sonya) Pappas & daughter Constance (Steven) Clancy. Grandchildren Alexandra (Brian) Lich, Daniel Pappas, Meghan (Evan) Leitch, Melanie (Jered) Stokes, and 9 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life, John Pappas, three brothers and two sisters.
A Trisagion Service will be held at Hahn-Cook Street & Draper Funeral Home on December 7, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services at St. George Greek Orthodox Church at 2101 N. W. 145th St. Oklahoma City on December 8, 2021 at 10:30 am o’clock. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to St. George Church, in Loving Memory of Mary Pappas.
