Mary Lou (Betty) Schmidt was born to William Oscar and Maudie Marie Harris on July 4, 1931, in Hydro, Oklahoma. She passed away on January 1, 2021, in Nicoma Park, Oklahoma. Mary was raised North of Colony, Oklahoma and attended Colony school where she graduated. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Dorothy Maynard, Mae Maynard, Margaret Smith, Della Fay Harris and brothers Delmer Harris, Elmer Harris and Donnie Harris. She is survived by her son Dean Brown and wife Barbara and daughter Joanna Stevens and husband Charley and grandchildren.
Mary worked at FAA as security.
Mary enjoyed gardening, working word puzzles and swinging on her front porch.
Services will be held at a later date at High Point Cemetery, Colony, Oklahoma.
