Maria "Chely" Guadalupe Ortiz

Maria Guadalupe Ortiz 60, passed away on Tuesday September 20, 2022 at 5:05am. She was the widow of Juan Manuel Ortiz, 60. They shared a happy 40 years together. Born in Praxedis G. Guerrero, Chihuahua also, known as San Ignacio Valle de Juarez. She was the daughter of Ramon Rivera and Concepcion Rivera. Maria was a member of St. James Catholic Church. She dedicated her life in caring for her children, she was a homemaker. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, cooking, and knew some mechanic work as well. She will be remembered for the most loving and caring mother. Always there when you needed her the most. She always went over and beyond in caring for her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by 7 children (Manuel, Zulema, Francisco, Oscar, Jeannette, Aracely, and Jacobo), 10 grandchildren (Annette, Edwin, Juan Manuel, Amairany, Allison, Jesus Ezequiel, Manuel, Alvaro, Juan Antonio, and Frankie), and 2 parakeet birds that she loved so much. She was preceded in death by Concepcion Rivera, her mother only weeks apart.

ADVANTAGE FUNERAL HOMES 7720 S Pennsylvania Ave. OKC, OK -The funeral memorial service for viewing will be held on September 29, 2022 at 9:00am-5:00pm and September 30, 2022 at 9:00am – 7:00pm. Her Rosary will begin at 5:00pm on Friday, September 30th. Funeral service will be held on October 1, 2022 at 10:00am at St James Catholic Church 4201 S McKinley Ave, OKC, OK followed by the burial service at Rose Hill Burial Cemetery 6001 NW Grand Blvd, OKC, OK.
