Services will be held at Trinity Baptist Church Yukon, OK, Saturday February 28th,2015 at 11am with burial at Chapel Hill Cemetery OKC, OK. Lola was born ninth of thirteen children to Benjamin Franklin and Ellen Janette Blackmon on Leap Day 1920 in Lindsay OK. Her childhood was spent attending the one room school near their home, going to church, and working with her family as cotton sharecroppers. She met Reece G. Conatser and they were married in Cheyenne, Oklahoma on December 24th,1941. Shortly after their marriage he was drafted to WWII, where he spent the next 3 years. She gave birth to their first child while he was overseas. After his return from the war they settled in Midwest City, OK, where she was a homemaker and mother to their 3 children, Donald, Douglas, and Annette. A roll she embraced with great love and pride. Lola and Reece retired to Yukon Ok in 1977. Where they enjoyed many years of playing with their grandchildren and gardening. She also enjoyed cooking, sewing, and spending time with family, friends, neighbors, and church family. Hymns and fellowship brought her great joy. She is preceded in death by her parents Benjamin and Janette, husband Reece, sons Donald and Douglas, and 12 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her daughter Annette of Yukon, daughter-in-laws Ruth of OKC and Kathy of Woodward, 8 grandchildren, John Robert (Pamela) of Nevada, Carol of California, Lynn (Charles) of Gage, Paul (Amy) of Woodward, Lola (Erick) of Edmond, Douglas Jason (Rebecca) of Texas, Joseph of Edmond, Corrina (Tim) of OKC, 21 great grandchildren, and 10 great great grandchildren.
