My dear Karla was born August 19, 1962 in Italy. She passed away Saturday morning April 5, 2014 after a long & heroic battle w/breast cancer. She spent most of her adult life living in the Oklahoma City area. Survived by her husband of 19 years, Jim Frazier of Edmond, her 2 Step sons, Zachary Frazier of Austin, Texas and Andrew Frazier of Oklahoma City, and her brothers Karl Kearns & Roger Kearns of Oklahoma City & many other family and friends. Pre-deceasing her in life was her brother Jamey Kearns, her mother Louise Kearns and her father Roger Raymond Kearns.
The lives she touched & brought together is not countable. When she would enter a room the room got brighter & smiles appeared everywhere (can you say life of the party?). She never met anyone she would not help, or give a 2nd/3rd chance to whether she knew them or not. For the past 15 years she ran her own Flowerbed Business, aka, FLOWERBEDS ONLY & it was very successful as that was one of her true loves were flowers & the beauty they bestow on life, just as she did. She loved her husband like none other & treated him like a king which he did not always deserve. She looked so forward to every summer's month long trips to Lake Tahoe. All the lives she touched in the South Lake Tahoe area are too many to count but they know whom they are. That is something that will never be the same.
There are too many friends to mention herein but a special thanks & heart felt hug goes out to David & Shannon Churchill of Oklahoma City as they were the solid strong souls whom held her hand, spoke beauty to her in her final days. I know for a FACT that Karla worshiped Shannon in a very special way.
Know she is no longer in pain, cancer's been kicked to the curb, she is with her family in heaven pain & worry free and as the song says, "There are Diamonds in the sky", and as of Saturday there is one more very bright Diamond added to that sky.
Your husband will love you forever Karla. We worked "together" like I knew we would 22 years ago when we met! And don't fret, I will take great care of your doggies, especially Pesty & in time your ashes will be sprinkled exactly where you wanted them to be. May the Lord bless your soul with comfort - light & happiness and know I will see you again my dear just not quite yet.
Any donations would be appreciated in honor of Karla June Frazier to the American Cancer Society to help in Breast Cancer Research.
Memorial Services will held at Mayflower Church, 3901 NW 63rd, Oklahoma City on Thursday April 10th, 2014 @ 2pm. followed by a Celebration of Life @ Louie's Grill - 9401 Lake Hefner Parkway, OKC, OK.
