He attended the University of Oklahoma and later went on to dispatch for a trucking company. He loved his OU sooner’s football and hated when they lost a game. He also loved TV shows, movies, computers, amazon shopping and traveling.
He was single for many years until he met Michael and they soon became a family. They loved working and spending time together. They watched many TV shows during quarantine and had plans to travel in the future. His proudest moments were the births of his five grandchildren.
John is preceded in death by his father Joseph Gwyn Easley. He is survived by his partner Michael Osteen of Yukon, daughters Natasha Osteen of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Nicole Osteen of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, his mother June Avanell Easley of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, sisters Janice and husband David Eastwick, of Redding, California, Julene and husband Dan Allen of Columbia, Kentucky, brother Joe and wife Mary Easley of San Jose, California, five grandchildren, five nieces, three nephews and fifteen great nieces and nephews. He had many friends from his travels all over the country and he will be missed by them all.
