He was born in San Angelo, Texas, on May 31, 1944. Jesse graduated from U.S. Grant High School in Oklahoma City where he played football. He attended Central State College where he was a member of Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity and was a walk-on with the football team for one year. He received a Bachelor of Science and Master of Math degree from Central State College. He served for 6 years with the 95th Division of the US Army Reserves as a mess sergeant. He was a member of the American Legion.
He retired from Oklahoma Gas and Electric after 38 years. He enjoyed farming and running cattle on the family farm.
He was preceded in death by his companion, Auda Marie Thomas, his mother R. Louise Simon, and his uncles, Joseph Reynolds and Oris Reynolds.
Heartfelt thanks to his many caregivers, especially Sandee Stapleton, the entire staff at Teal Creek Assisted Living, of whom Lacey and Albert were favorites, and the many caregivers with Complete OK Hospice.
