Jerry Lee Beyer

Jerry Lee Beyer, 72, passed away on July 24, 2017. Jerry was born on January 17, 1945 in Corpus Christi, TX to Alfred H. and Selma Bertha (Rundberg) Beyer. Jerry began working at an early age delivering newspapers. He has managed several grocery stores throughout his lifetime and has always provided for his family. He retired from Sam’s Club after 25 years of service. After retiring, he enjoyed spending more time with his family whether it was cooking brisket and butter beans, watching the Food Network, or going to his granddaughter’s sporting events. Jerry could always be found on his porch whether it was napping, keeping a close eye on what was going on in the neighborhood, or enjoying the fresh air with his dogs. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Charles and Billy Beyer. Survivors include his loving wife, Dorror K. Beyer; son, Michael Beyer and wife Tracy; granddaughters, Casey D. Gilchrist, Cayla D. Seawright, and Codi L. Beyer; great-granddaughter, Kanion L. Blackwolf; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members who will miss him dearly. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, July 31, 2017 at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel.
