Janice LaNell Kroth Buchanan was born in Oklahoma City, OK to LaNell and Kenneth Kroth on October 13, 1956. Janice was called home by her Lord and Savior on October 10, 2021. Janice fought a long, hard battle with Covid-19 and passed at the age of 64 at Integris Canadian Valley Hospital in Yukon, OK. She leaves behind her beloved furbaby Lucy, her 2 sons, Brandon and Bradley Booth, mother LaNell, sister Phyllis Westbrook and husband Steve.
She married Kenneth Booth in 1977 and was blessed with her sons. Her sons gave her 7 beautiful grandchildren that she loved more than anything. Brad and Dana blessed her with Nick, Madalin, Abby and Tyler. Brandon blessed her with Briana, Bailey and Bubba.
Janice worked at Mammoth Energy Services in the accounting department for the last 4 years. She gained some wonderful friends along the way. She enjoyed spending her weekends with her grandkids. They looked forward to spending time with Granny, whether it was cooking, baking, shopping, acting goofy and whatever else the grandkids wanted to do. Granny always made it happen for them. Janice also enjoyed working in her yard and flowerbeds, visiting with neighbors, talking her sister Phyllis into “another” home project and taking care of their mother LaNell.
Janice will always be remembered for her smile, positive energy and her big heart. Family and friends were very important to her and she kept up with evens and special occasions going on with everyone she knew.
Janice is also survived by her niece, Michelle and husband Heath Martin, nephew Steve Workman, Sr., niece Jennifer and husband Andy Parker, nephew Nick and wife Raini Westbrook, great-nieces and great-nephews, Rachelle, Steven Jr., Jared, Madison, Charisma, Kaddie, Carleigh, Kooper, Abi and Zaiden; great-great nieces and nephews, Lakyn, Karter, Karsyn and Adley. She has a myriad of family and friends, too many to mention but she cherished them all. She was met in Heaven by her father, Kenneth, brother Roger, sister Sherry and several family members and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in the honor of Janice may be made out to Hotdogs for the Homeless, 700 Ricks Trail, Edmond, OK 73012, Tax ID #20-0130454.
