James J. Frazier, 84, passed away peacefully 11-22-2010 in Oklahoma City, OK. He was born 2-2-1926 to James R. Frazier & Katherine Jolly. He was a graduate of the University of OK and served Proudly in the US Navy during World War II. Predeceased by his loving wife, Kay Lou Frazier, survived by his son, Jim G. Frazier of Edmond, OK., his 2 step children, Stuart Bell & Leslie Bell of Okla. City. 2 grandchildren, Zachary Frazier of Orlando, FL., and Andrew Frazier of Okla. City and 2 great-grandchildren Joshua & Ryleah Frazier. Mr. Frazier was a Petroleum Landman who began his career for Amoco in Jackson, MS., and ended up in Okla. City in 1964. He continued as a Landman for MGF Petroleum plus others until he retired in the late 1980's. Jim enjoyed traveling with his wife Kay Lou and playing golf "until he felt the game had mastered him". Jim was an avid OU Sooner fan & enjoyed Monday morning quarterbacking all of OU's wins & losses through the years. Jim was a caring and loving husband, father and a friend to many he leaves behind. His wit & charm will be missed by his family and many friends. Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Friday, November 26, 2010 at the Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper Chapel with interment in Rose Hill Burial Park.
