He was born on December 6th, 1945 in Oklahoma City and went on to graduate from Central High School. Following this he furthered his education attending college in Hawaii and Texas. He met Kay Williams and the two were happily married in 1968.
Harvey had a career serving in the United States Army where he made rank of E-6, with this stent in the military he was able to travel the world. Following his career with the military he also held a job as manager of Autozone for a time, as well as some construction work. He was a member of the American Legion, and in his free time he coached football and baseball. He was also a Troop Leader for boyscouts. His family fondly remembers his love for striking up a conversation with anyone he met. He loved to talk and share stories.
Harvey is survived by his wife, Kay Williams; Children, Ross Williams, Marty Williams, Wendy Williams and Duke Williams; Grandchildren, Jordan Garst, Joycelynn Ruttman, Annebelle Albertson, Ashtayn Williams, Cory, Kyle, Nelson, Destiny, Veronica, Rocky, Aaron Williams, Leaha, Amber, as well as several Great Grandchildren.
A graveside service for Harvey will be held Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, 2301 East Indian Hills Road, Norman, Oklahoma 73071.
Harvey will be laid to rest in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, Norman, Oklahoma.
