
Glenn was one of a kind.  I guess we could say that about anyone but Glenn’s one of a kind was different.   Glenn was soft-spoken, a great listener, and in the 20 years I knew him, (71’-91’) I don’t believe I ever heard him say a bad word about anyone or even raise his voice in anger.  He was kind to strangers and occasionally took chances picking up hitchhikers, especially those who looked down trodden without a friend in the world.  I really don’t think he was afraid of anything though his bravery was never showy or bombastic but rather that of a quiet confidence that needed no words. He endured sorrows of life including the loss of his beautiful young daughter Brooke with a silent loneliness that defied understanding. Glenn was a bit of a nomad and a wanderer; seeking solitude when there were no explanations.  For those of us with wonderful memories of Glenn we should let them run free. Remember our good times together;  retrace the moments and feel lucky that at one time we were among those he called his friends.

I’m so sad to hear of Glenn’s passing.  He was such a wonderful man.  I worked with Glenn for many years and always thought a lot of him.  Condolences to his family and friends.
