Fred was a proud U.S. Army veteran and a deeply loved Husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. Fred lived a life defined by pure generosity, and hard work. Fred was the kind of man to give you the shirt off of his back without hesitation. He was known for his selflessness, his huge heart and his unshakeable loyalty.
Fred had a deep love for fishing, truck driving and country music, but more than anything Fred adored his grandchildren. They were the light of his life and he never missed a chance to show up for them and be present in their world.
Fred made sure anyone who entered his home didn’t leave with an empty stomach, he never turned down a good meal with the people he cared about. His family will remember him as a man who showed up when it mattered, smiled with his whole heart, lived with quiet dignity and who loved fiercely and fully.
His memory will live on in the stories told around dinner tables, in the laughter of his grandkids and in the hearts of all who were lucky enough to know him.
He has cast his final line into peaceful waters, where the fish are always biting and the sun never sets.
