Fairrell Waneve (King) Trammell, 89 of Oklahoma City passed away Friday, March 8, 2019 in Calera Oklahoma. She was born October 21, 1929 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Bill and Vera (Bryant) King. She grew up North of Muldrow near the townships of Long and Short in the Cookson Hills. She attended school and graduated high school from Muldrow, Oklahoma in 1946. After graduation from high school, she attended Central State University and the University of Oklahoma. During that time she was a Medical Record Librarian. She was a member of the Tri Sigma Sorority while at Central State. She received her Bachelors of Business Administration from the University of Oklahoma in 1955.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Vera King; son, Allen Trammell; and sister, Mary Elizabeth Adams.
She is survived by her brother Bill Jr King of Independence KS; daughter, Anna and husband Mark of Oklahoma City; son, Roger and his wife Connie Trammell of Durant, OK; 3 grandchildren Erin Broome and husband Richard of Ponca City, OK, Dakota Trammell of Durant, OK, Chris Witherspoon and wife Cassia of Durant, OK; and 7 great-grandchildren, Cayden, Zoey, Madison, Paxton, Brailey, Caius, and Brantley.
Fairrell married Ray Trammell in Norman Oklahoma. She was a long time resident of Oklahoma City where she raised her kids as a housewife. She was a former member of the McFarlin Methodist Church in Norman, Crown Heights Methodist on OKC and St Luke’s Methodist Church OKC.
Services and interment will be 2pm on Tuesday March 12th at Arlington Memory Gardens in Midwest City.
