peace in the loving arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Edie, 86, was born to
Pearle Ray Camden and Violet Beebe Camden, at Milmine, Illinois. Her formative years
were in Milmine. Her early adult years were spent in Decatur, Illinois. In 1952 she
moved to Del City and Midwest City, Oklahoma. Edie was raised in the Church of God
and later became a member of the Nichols Hills Baptist Church (now Quail Springs
Baptist Church). She was a member of the planning and building committee of the Quail Springs Church, and remained a member until her death. She married her love Charles D. Dudley on August 26, 1966. To this union was born their daughter Alisa Angela (Angel) Munday. Edie was a loving wife and mother. She enjoyed gardening, bridge and needlepoint. Edie is survived by her husband of 47 years, Charles, and her daughter, Angel and her husband Todd Munday. She is also survived by her sons from a previous marriage, Dale Johnson and wife Kit; of Oklahoma City: Johnny Johnson, of Studio City, California; and, Chris Johnson and wife LaDonya; also surviving are 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Also surviving Edie are her brothers George Camden, of Ballwin, Missouri; Robert Bernard (Barney) Camden, of Bement, Illinois; and sister Dorcas Akers, of Decatur, Illinois. Edie was preceded in death by her brothers Ray Camden and James Camden, both of Decatur, Illinois, and sisters Lois Snyder, of Kankakee, Illinois, Dorcas Akers, of Decatur, Illinois, and Mary Frydenger, of Cerro Gordo, Illinois. Formal visitation will be Wednesday, June 26, 2013 between the hours of 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper. Funeral services will be 1:00P.M., Thursday, June 27, 2013 at Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper Funeral Directors with interment to follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.
