Winifred Mills (103), longtime resident of Midwest City died September 13, 2020. She grew up in Northern Oklahoma and attended Northern Jr. College in Tonkawa and Central State College now UCO. She taught grade school in Marland at the Bar L. Ranch for four years. She married Edmund Mills in 1940. They had two daughters Susan and Sally. She was a faithful member of Country Estates Baptist Church for over 55 years. A special thank you to her Church Family. She belonged to MWC Chapter Eastern Star #491. Winifred retired from Tinker AFB in 1990 after 24 years of service. She continued to enjoy getting together with her lunch bunch group. Winnie was preceded in death by her parents, husband Edmund, Brother Ray, Sisters; Jean, Leafa, and Dollie, her daughters; Susan Baker and Sally Mills, and son-in-law Kenneth Baker. She is survived by grandson Chauncey Baker, wife Audra, granddaughter Camille McCullough, husband Jason, great grandchildren Camron, wife Reese, Hannah, Krista, Peyton, Lilian, Jax, Nathaniel, Sophia and Axle, and soon to be great great grandson Baker.
