Dennis Leon Finley, age 83, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2023. Dennis was born in Wellington, Texas. A visitation for Dennis will be held Thursday, April 6, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Service-South Chapel, 7720 South Pennsylvania Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73159. A funeral service will occur Friday, April 7, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 7720 South Pennsylvania Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73159. A committal service will occur Friday, April 7, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, 2301 East Indian Hills Road, Norman, OK 73071.

Dennis Leon Finley, 83, passed away on March 26, 2023 at the Oklahoma City VA Hospital. Born in Wellington, Texas, he was the son of Leon & Wilma Finley. He graduated from Capitol Hill High school in 1959. Dennis then entered into the Army shortly after. Worked as a warehouse manager/ counter representative at Cook Electric Co. He retired from Norman Supply Co.

Dennis was a member of the NRA. He enjoyed gardening fishing, collecting guns, and going to the shooting range. He will be remembered for his kind, gentle, and loving personality. Dennis had a great sense of humor, and was quick-witted.

He is survived by one child: Holly Harris, one grandchild Jacob Finley one brother Andy Finley, and three nephews: Mike, Chris, and James Finley.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leon & Wilma; one sister, Gaylen Lovett, one grandchild Meagan Anne Finley and one daughter, Carey Denice Finley.
