Dennis Michael Ewing

Dennis Michael “J.R.” Ewing, 57 year-old resident of Newalla, Oklahoma, passed away September 3, 2012 in Newalla, Oklahoma. Born April 19, 1955 in Lima, Ohio, he was the son of Jesse Alfred Ewing and Martha Ann Clark Ewing. J.R. was retired U.S. Air Force and was a heavy equipment operator working in both construction and tree service. An avid football fan he faithfully followed the Ohio State Buckeyes. J.R. loved being outdoors; Fishing; Camping; Grilling; and he made the world’s best chili. Survivors include his wife Debbora Adams Ewing of the home; 1 step-son, Jason and his wife Stefanie Adams of Lawton, OK; 2 daughters, Tonya Michelle Ewing Perry and her husband Jeremy of Newalla, OK; Angelique Marie Ewing and her fiancé Scott Martin of Newalla, OK; 5 grandchildren, Dylan, Collin, and Hailey Perry, Hunter Isaac Martin, and Landon Cooper Adams; 1 brother, James B. Ewing of Kenosha, WI; 1 sister, Marsha Lee Woods of Newalla, OK; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 7, 2012 at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel. In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Children’s Miracle Network.
