Clarence Edward LeGrange, 99, went to be with his Lord, April 5, 2011, in OKC. He was born Oct. 26, 1911, in OKC, to parents Elmer & Cathern (Gardner) LeGrange. He married his lifetime-love, Collen Coshow, Jan. 30, 1936.
Clarence worked in his family’s produce business, before joining the workforce at Tinker AFB. He retired from Tinker, after 40 years of dedicated service. He was a devoted husband and father who loved gardening. He was also an avid drag-racing enthusiast and a member of West 10th St. Baptist Church.
Clarence was preceded in death by his parents; wife; a son-in-law; a granddaughter; a great-granddaughter; brother, Emory; and sisters: Hazel, Mabel, Adelia and Marcella. He is survived by two brothers, John Henry and William; four children: Colleen, John, Mary and Linda; 10 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.
Visitation will be at the funeral home, Thursday from 4pm to 8pm. Funeral services will be 2pm, Friday, April 8, 2011, at Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
