Carolyn Virginia Moseley

Carolyn Virginia Moseley, age 82, passed away on April 26, 2023. She was born on July 2, 1940 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to her parents Ada Mae McCullough and Okie Elmer Wheeler. She was a housewife for 64 years. She married Jimmy Lee Moseley on February 28, 1959 in Oklahoma City. She enjoyed her children, grandkids, great-grandkids, and her dog Sunny.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Jimmy Lee Moseley; parents, Okie Elmer and Ada Mae Wheeler; sister, Betty Lou Knapp; sister, Phyllis Ann Young; sister, Ruby Jean Ross; sister, Leona Beatrice Clymer; sister, Deanna Gail Lewis; and her brother, Kenneth Elmer Wheeler; as well as 3 great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her 5 children, Virginia McLean of Choctaw, Cora Gentry of Eufaula, Carolyn Zitterkob of Indiahoma, Douglas Moseley of Choctaw, and Jimmie Moseley of El Reno; sister, Beverly Sue Cherry; sister, Sandra Kay Carpenter; grandchildren, Shannon Nix, Kristy Lowry, Jennifer Mundy, Johnny Gentry Jr., Jamie Moseley, David Johnson, Douglas Moseley Jr., Steven Moseley, Jimmie Moseley Jr., and Jeffrey Moseley. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Alyssa Nix, Shelby Nix, Shaylee Lowry, Brance Lowry, Baylen Lowry, Emily Lowry, Wyatt Mundy, Luke Mundy, Mason Gentry, Dakotah Easley, September Moseley, and Lakelyn Sullivan. Kally, Toby, Brayson, Brently, Tristan, Roman, Arabella, Silas Moseley, Kaden, Leyton, Colson, and Isla Torvi Moseley.

A visitation for Carolyn will be held Monday, May 1, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 8805 NE 23rd Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73141. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, May 2, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Kolb Cemetery, 3706 N. Midwest Blvd., Oklahoma City, OK 73141.
