Bonnie Jean Savage was born February 8, 1944 in Denver, Colorado. She passed from this life January 21, 2020 in Oklahoma City at the age of 75 years. Bonnie was raised in Denver, Colorado and was a 1962 graduate of St. Joseph’s Catholic High School. She also attended at 2 year Secretarial College also in Denver. She and Joe Savage were united in marriage on April 24, 1968 and he preceded her in death on October 19, 1994. Bonnie enjoyed word search puzzles and taking care of her dogs. She also loved spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest Louis and Ann Margaret (Snell) Blanchard, and by a sister, Helen King. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kristine Orwig and husband Joe; grandson Cameron Orwig, all of Oklahoma City; sister, Vi Jackson of Grand Junction, Colorado and brother, Ernie Blanchard of Eckert, Colorado. Known for her caring heart and humble spirit, Bonnie was always looking for ways to help others. A loving mother and grandmother, she will be greatly missed. Services will be private.
