Betty L. Baxter

Betty Louise Baxter departed this life to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on March 26, 2010. She was born March 31, 1929 in Norman, Oklahoma the daughter of Fred and Ethel Clark. She was the youngest child of 5 girls and 3 boys and graduated from Atwood, Oklahoma high school as valedictorian of her senior class. She retired from her job with B.C. Clark and remained active with the Grace United Methodist church women's circle.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years J.R. Baxter of the home in Oklahoma City, daughter Sharon Pregler and her husband Jim Pregler of Edmond and son Robert Baxter and his wife Cathy Baxter of Midwest City. She was the proud grandmother of 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

The family wishes to express its gratitude to the staff of Deaconess Hospital and Excell hospice for the kind care she received in her last days.

Services will be held at Guardian Funeral Homes West Chapel on March 30, 2010 with burial at 2:00 PM in Holdenville, Oklahoma.
