Beatrice Rae Hardacre Cramer was born in Tulsa August 12, 1926 and passed away December 14, 2014. “Bea” is now in the company of her husband Robert Clark Cramer and her parents Ray Vernon Hardacre and Beatrice Lucille Underhill Hardacre. “Bebe” graduated from Will Rogers High School and attended the University of Tulsa. She married “Lucky,” the love of her life, and made a beautiful home in Tulsa. In 1956, with her parents and spouse, a lake house was built at Fort Gibson and it remains a favorite gathering place for family and friends. After the loss of her husband in 1966 and with a young daughter at home, she went back to school and earned a degree in Nursing. She worked as an elementary school nurse with Tulsa public schools and then accelerated to safety coordinator for the Tulsa Technology Center system. Bea retired and ran for the Tulsa Technology School Board and served in many roles, including President. She loved advocating for vocational educational at the Capitol. Bea was an avid Duplicate Bridge player and enjoyed concerts, plays, and worldwide travel. Her sisters in Beta Sigma Phi voted her Valentine Queen in 2013. She is survived by her daughter, Stacy Rae Cramer Duncan, son in-law Bob J. Duncan; granddaughter Cassandra Rae Duncan Azadi and her husband Kavon Charles Azadi; grandson Kendall Clark Duncan and his fiancé Alyssa Mackenzie Markey; and grandson Robert Joseph Duncan. The family is grateful for the compassionate care of Fresenius of Tulsa and Oklahoma City and Deaconess Hospital staff and physicians. A celebration of her life will be held in Tulsa, Oklahoma, 10 a.m. on Thursday, December 18, at Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel of Tulsa.
