Barbara Sue Yeager

Barbara Sue Yeager fought a strong fight but is now at rest. She peacefully passed away November 28, 2020. Barbie was born in Carlinville, Illinois to James Leo and Dessa Caroline (Johnson) Belcher. She was a member of Village Baptist Church where she met the love of her life, Don Charles Yeager. They were married September 27, 1980 and shared 40 wonderful years together. You never saw her without a smile on her face and she always put others before herself. Barbie loved being a Grandma and she had lots of love to give. She even had an in-home daycare. She was always taking care of others. She was adventurous too; whether it was taking off on a surprise cruise or running out of state for that must have item found on Facebook Market Place. She was up for it! Barbie was definitely the glue that held this family together and this family will never be the same.

Barbie’s parents preceded her in death. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband Don; her children Denise Yeager, Jarrett Yeager, Steven Yeager, Kelli King, Staci Yeager; grandchildren; Olivia, Morgan, Hunter, Autumn and Porter and her siblings Jim Belcher, Danny Belcher, Jeanie Cox and Louann Batchlear.

Visitation will be at Chapel Hill Funeral Home on Monday, Dec.7 from 4pm to 8pm and a Celebration of her Life will be at Village Baptist Church on Tuesday, Dec. 8 at 11am with interment following in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
