Barbara sustained everyone around her; she was a rock of support, who, while raising five kids, still supported her husband through medical school. She was a floral designer operating the original Pearce Flower Shop from 1955-1970, contributing her floral skills to many memorable events throughout her life including proms, weddings and funerals. Her hobbies included gardening, bird watching and cooking for her family. She loved golf, even made a hole-in-one at Oak Tree, and loved to travel. She was a member of First Christian Church of Edmond. Above all, she was an incredible woman devoted to family and was the greatest wife, mom, and grandma ever.
