She was born in Oklahoma City on May 15th, 1941 to her parents Leslie and Viola Holland.
Barbara graduated from Northwest Classen High School in Oklahoma City.
She had a career as an accounting coordinator at Western Electric, AT&T, and Lucent Technologies where she eventually retired with 40+ years of service.
She had a passion for reading, rescuing stray animals, and her family.
Barbara had a servant's heart and continued to be an active member of The Cherokee Hills Church of Christ even after her diagnosis.
She was preceded in death by her parents Leslie and Viola Holland and countless cats and dogs she rescued throughout her life.
Barbara is survived by her 3 children Kevin Craighead, Alicia Craighead, and Lindsay Sizemore, all of Oklahoma City, and 5 grandchildren Cody Ross, Cory Hall, Aedan Weaver, Keller Sizemore, and Vance Sizemore.
A visitation for Barbara will be held Wednesday, July 5, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Memorial Park Funeral Home, 13313 North Kelley Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73131.
A funeral service will occur Thursday, July 6, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Memorial Park Historic Chapel, 13400 N Kelley Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73131. A graveside service will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
