Audrey Ilene Koeppe

Audrey Ilene Koeppe was born in Kingfisher, Oklahoma on February 19, 1918, to Vaughn and Erna White. She and her twin sister, Evelyn, were only 2 ½ pounds each and were not expected to live. Obviously, they had a strong will to live so they conquered the odds and lived a full life. Audrey died on December 19, 2017. Audrey was married on April 14, 1944 to Gene Koeppe. Their three children and their spouses are Gloria and Lowell Wells, Loree Thompson and Stan and Teresa Koeppe. Her 4 grandchildren are Jennifer Hardin, Greg Mason, Rachel Koeppe and Jared Koeppe. She has 3 great grandchildren; Nick and Megan Hardin and Savannah Koeppe. She is preceded in death by her sister, Evelyn Mahoney, brother Harold White, husband Gene and her mother and father. Audrey worked for the Oklahoma Publishing Company and American Fidelity Assurance Company and was a charter member of Messiah Lutheran Church. Audrey was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She was God’s gift to her family and was a Christian role model. She was never critical of her children and was always supportive. She will be greatly missed. Visitation will be held Friday, December 29th from 8a-8p at Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper Funeral Home, with the family receiving guests from 5-7 p.m. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 30th at Messiah Lutheran Church with burial to follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.
