Anna Elizabeth Croom passed away peacefully on May 6, 2015, in Oklahoma City, Okla. Anna Beth was born on December 29, 1920 in Henrietta, Texas. With her family, she soon moved to Oklahoma City, where she was raised. Anna Beth graduated from Classen High School where she met her future husband, Roland Croom. Anna Beth and Roland were married in 1940. They enjoyed seventy four years of marriage, until his passing in 2014. They spent the early years of married life in Oklahoma City, and moved to Ardmore in 1953. It was there Anna Beth and Roland raised their two boys. She was a wonderful mother, providing both love and discipline when necessary. Anna Beth always placed her family before herself, being certain that their needs were always met. She will be missed greatly. Anna Beth was predeceased by her husband, her sister, Evelyn Flesher, and her parents, W. L. Stone and Laura F. Stone. She is survived by her sons, Dr. William M. Croom [wife Dana] and Richard R. Croom [wife Kimberly], five grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. The family will greet guests Thursday May 7, 2015 from 5pm to 7pm at Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper Funeral Directors. Graveside services will be held Friday 1:00 pm May 8, 2015 at Rose Hill Burial Park.
