Wayne R. Wilson Sr., age 72 of St. Regis Falls, NY passed away on Tuesday (November 19, 2019) at Massena Memorial Hospital. As per his request there will be no funeral services.
Surviving are his children Wayne Wilson Jr. & his companion Barbara Randall of St. Regis Falls and Tracy Wilson & her companion Mack Wheeler of St. Regis Falls; brothers Asa Wilson address unknown, and John “Bobby” Wilson & his wife Nancy of St. Regis Falls; and a sister Jean Wilson of Washington.
He was predeceased by his wife Bonnie Wilson; a sister Judy Wison and two brothers Thomas & William Wilson.
Wayne was born on September 1, 1947 in St. Regis Falls, a son of the late John & Betty (Snyder) Wilson. He attended St. Regis Falls High School and entered the US Army in 1966 until 1978 serving in Germany. He later married Bonnie Shanty on July 3, 1971.
He worked as a diesel mechanic throughout his life and most recently with Casella in Potsdam. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodworking.
