Suzanne E. Caruso

Suzanne E. Caruso, age 67, of Lisbon, NY, passed away at her home on November 13, 2024. Per her wishes, there will be no services at this time. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Fox & Murray Funeral Home.

Born on May 25, 1957, the daughter to the late Arthur and Emma (Walter) Blauvelt. Suzanne was a proud graduate of Ellenville Junior/Senior High School, Class of 1975. Her career began with Don Sterling Accounting, followed by a position at Truax Insurance Agency. She dedicated ten years working for St. Lawrence County Social Services in Canton, NY, where her thoughtful nature was evident in her work.

She was married to Stephen Caruso for 43 wonderful years, celebrating their anniversary on November 8. In her leisure time, Suzanne enjoyed hunting, fishing, and painting, pursuits that reflected her appreciation for both the outdoors and the arts. Her great love was spending time with her grandson, Gabriel, he meant the world to her.

Mrs. Caruso is survived by her husband, Stephen Caruso of Lisbon; her children, Christopher (Brian) Caruso of Virginia and James (Becky) Caruso of Massena; her beloved grandson, Gabriel; her siblings, Terri Blauvelt of Ulster, Geryl- Jo (Henry) Wilhelm of Lisbon, Richard (Donna) Blauvelt of Delaware and John (Rowena) Blauvelt of Ellenville; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was predeceased by her brother, Arthur Blauvelt Jr.
