Gladys M. Durham

Funeral services for Gladys M. Durham, age 51 of King Street in Ogdensburg, will be held on Friday (Mar 18, 2011) at 1:00pm at the Fox & Murray Funeral Home. Her place of rest will be at Foxwood Memorial Park.

Calling hours will also be held on Friday from 11:00am until the time of the service at the funeral home. Ms. Durham died Tuesday morning (Mar 15, 2011) at Claxton Hepburn Medical Center surrounded by her family.

Surviving are two children Nichole Durham & her companion Leo Compo III, Christopher Durham & his companion Trisha Fredericks of Ogdensburg; sisters Edna Webb & Ann Martin of Ogdensburg, Shirley Kendall & her companion Al Nugent of Brier Hill, William Durham of Ogdensburg, Roy Durham & his wife Robin of Ogdensburg; three grandchildren Emily, Hayden and Aliyha Durham along with several nieces nephews & cousins.

Gladys was predeceased by four sisters Judy Durham, Diane Durham, Marion Durham Harriett Lovely and two brothers Kenneth and Clarence Durham.

Gladys was born on August 10, 1959 in Ogdensburg, NY, a daughter of the late Kenneth & Kathleen (Kitts) Durham. She graduated from Ogdensburg Free Academy and was employed at Newell Manufacturing and Compas during her working career. She retired in 1999 due to poor health.

She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, bingo, computers, her dogs and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
