We have missed you at family gatherings. RIP Denny!

Denny, you definitely will be missed by so many people, but I know how happy you will be to  be reunited with your mom and dad. Im glad i got to talk to you a few times, i only wish it had been in person.  Rest in peace.

Dave and family, I'm so sorry for your loss.  Thoughts and prayers to you and your family.  

I've known Denny since his dad and I played softball together.  Denny was always full of life.  Most recently I enjoyed the bus rides for basketball to destinations around the North Country.  Our conversations always got to our love of the Yankees (not him!! LOL) and Red Sox.  I always looked forward to seeing him and he loved taking the kids everywhere.  I will miss him and so will all "his bus kids".  Fly high my friend. 

To Denny's Family and Friends - 

So incredibly saddened to learn of Denny's passing.  From the OBGC as kids, to the baseball fields of Father Martin and OFA as teenagers, to recent bus trips with my boys' basketball teams, I have known Denny for practically my entire life.  He was a one of a kind personality with a huge heart, and I will greatly miss him. 

Please know that all those in Denny's life will be in my thoughts and prayers - we truly lost one of the best.

We are so sorry to hear of Denny’s passing.  He was unique, one of a kind and very genuine.  That his kids loved him so is a great tribute to him.  He won’t be forgotten.

Denny was a true friend. He would pick up the phone whenever you needed him. He was the number one Bronco fan. We spent many Sunday’s watching the Broncos and talking football daily. I will miss those football talks. Rest easy my friend. You will be missed.

Denny always had a smile upon his face. He was never too busy to stop and say hello …even if you were a stranger. His school bus families were his life. He always kept our children safe while maneuvering the snowy back roads of the North country. Thank you..I do hope he knew how much he meant to all of us ….

Denny had a true love of motor cycles ,i would pull up in front of my brother Rick's house across the road and he would often come out just to talk bikes with me ..,always willing  to learn anything about his bikes and motor cycles in general .life often changes us and not always for the good . but Denny was always him self and a great guy .. i will miss you friend .. stay safe with God and i can only hope  people know how lucky they were to have known you ...stay safe stay free 



My grandsons, Noah & Sam LaCombe (whom I was raising) absolute loved Denny and he totally loved them.  Whenever I would run into him we would spend an hours talking about his "Bus-capades." May he rest in peace!

He use to be my bus driver he was my favorite one I even hung a jerseys up and he would mention them he was an amazing man sorry for ur lost he would even let me open the bus doors I enjoyed doing that he was awesome 

Denny to me was very up front and honest and always willing to go that extra miles to help anyone out ,  Another one gone to soon !

Denny was more like family to me than a friend. He would always stop out to my house and just catch up on life and hang out with my grandparents and I. His smile and laugh were contagious, and his energy  could light up a room and he will forever hold a place in my heart. This man is what all of us should aspire to be. Never have i ever met another human, that ever had the mentality and all around amazing personality that this man had. It still seems so surreal that a man so genuine, and deserving of nothing but good things could endure such a tragedy. I wish i would have known the last time i saw him in walmart would have been the last time. I am forever grateful for that hour long conversation. I love you Denny. Everything i do from this day forward is for you. I will become the man you’ve always told me i could be. See you later, My friend ❤️.

Jeanne and David I am so sorry on the passing of Denny.  Denny was a one of a kind guy.  I will always remember the softball games my brother and Denny played at Lincoln school and the Saturday morning bowling league that was a ritual.  He will be greatly missed. My deepest condolences to you and your family. 
                                                                                                       


In fifth grade I was transferred back to madill elementary, I lived with my aunt and Denny happened to do that route on the bus. Everyday me, him and a few other kids would talk, mess around, and even have singing competitions. He was the absolute best person you could ever ask to be around. It didn’t matter who you were, what your story was, he was excepting of each and every person he met. Even after I left madill to go back to Morristown, I would stop by his place as it was just across the street from my friends moms. He would talk to me about how life was going and every time he would have a bag of snacks ready for me. I don’t think I will ever meet someone quite as awesome as Denny. He had this skeleton that he would hang on the bus everyday and it would change colors and everytime the Broncos were playing he would see what color it would change and if it changed orange he was convinced the Broncos were winning that game. He was just all around funny, caring, and most of all loving. He will be truly missed<3

Sorry to hear of Denny passing. Thinking of everyone and sending prayers.

Everyday at Boces he would stop at our bus and talk to us students, about our life,  our future and joke around and laugh. I personally got close with Him when one day I ran into him at the store. We exchanged names and talked for a little and after that about life after school. Him and I would always say hello whenever we passed each other! He was a friend, a bus driver and all the students loved him. Everyone went to him if they needed someone to talk to! I will never forget him. No one will ever forget the biggest impact he put on mine and others lives 

Denny you were my best friend, I can't find the words to explain how much your missed, You were loved by more people than you will ever know my friend. I'm not going to say goodbye I'm just gonna say see you later my friend, Rest easy my friend  you will never be forgotten
