Funeral services for Amy J. Jennings, 47, of Lovejoy Road Ogdensburg, will be held at 2:00pm Friday, July 6, 2018 at the Fox & Murray Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Nichols officiating. Calling Hours will be held from 11:00am until the time of service. Burial will follow at Pinehill Cemetery. After the services, a celebration of Amy’s life will be held at Langbrook Meadows in Brier Hill. Amy passed away at home Monday (July 2) with her loving family by her side.
Surviving is her wife Leslie MacMartin of Ogdensburg, a son Jerry Dean of Canton, daughters Erin (Justin Jones) MacMartin, Anastazia (Brent) Finley of Heuvelton and Alyxandra Scalone of New Jersey; brothers Glen Pvirre of Ogdensburg, John Pvirre of Kentucky and Brad Jennings of Ogdensburg, a sister Debbie (Nick) Arduine of Florida and a step- granddaughter Lauren Lee Finley.
Amy was born November 13, 1970, in Ogdensburg, NY, a daughter of the late John Jennings and Sharon Farrell. She attended Hammond and Heuvelton schools for education, graduating from Heuvelton in 1988. She married her longtime companion Leslie MacMartin on November 28, 2014 at their home.
Amy was a member of the Black Lake Women's Horseshoe League, the Women’s Bowling League of Ogdensburg, and the Black Lake Women's Pool League. During her career she worked as a payroll clerk for Perretta’s Meatpacking Plant and United Helpers Management Company, until her retirement in May 2018. Amy enjoyed spending time with family and friends, eating out, gardening, harassing people, playing pool, horseshoes (The Ringer Queen), bowling, and loving all her dogs.
