William "Bob" Robert Barnes

Bob was born in Lubbock Texas, to Ira Francis (Tom) and Ruthie Anne in November of 1933. They moved to Odessa when he was 3.

He married Emagine Yarbrough in September of 1953. Shortly after, he was drafted by the Army. After serving, he and Emagine had 4 children and resided in Odessa Tx. A man of God, he was dedicated to his God and Church. He retired from Southwestern Portland Cement co. In 1994. Then volunteered at Campers on Mission for over 20 years.

He enjoyed camping and fishing and spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by daughter, Deborah in 1956, his bride of almost 68 years, Emagine (Mema) in April of 2021.

He leaves behind son, Ross and wife, Teresa, daughter Loy Mayfield, daughter Tylene and husband Jack Brookshire, 12 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends for visitation Friday, September 9, 2022 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held privately by the family.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Campers on Mission or The Alzheimer's Foundation.
