Timothy Reed Clark

Timothy Reed Clark, age 60, of Odessa, Texas, passed away suddenly on February 19, 2013, at his home. Tim was born December 1, 1952, to William Reed and Patricia Ann Clark in St. Cloud, Minnesota. Tim was one of four children born into the Clark family. During Tim’s childhood the family moved to North Dakota, West Virginia and Missouri before arriving in Dallas, Texas. In 1971, he graduated from Lake Highlands High School, where he had been on the wrestling and football teams. Tim married Katherine Lightfoot in 1972 and they had one child, Phillip Reed Clark in 1975. Although Tim and Katie did not remain married, they maintained a strong bond across the years. Tim moved to Odessa, Texas, and went to work for Stewart & Stevenson in 1981, where he was an integral part of the process and management of the Parts Department for nearly 32 years. Over those years Tim enjoyed the friendship and support of his many co-workers.

Tim loved animals and enjoyed playing cards, cribbage and all types of games with his family as well as enjoying Odessa football, professional sports and great food.

Tim will be missed by his loving family: parents Bill and Pat of San Antonio; son Phillip of Honolulu; brother Doug of San Antonio; sister Julie, her husband Robert Cadenhead and their son Grayson of Garland, TX; and sister Betsy, her husband Dana Jacobson and their daughters Rachel and Mara of San Antonio. Tim was preceded in death by grandparents James and Beatrice Nelson of Marshall, Minnesota. Tim also left behind long-time cherished friends Jimmy Moon, Katie Lightfoot, Kathy Wright and Teddy Lewis.

Memorial Service will be at 10:00 AM Saturday March 16, 2013, at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
