Thomas Hunter Miller went to be with Jesus on October 7, 2014. Hunter completed the Miller family on February 26, 1998, bringing his special light and laughter to everyone he met. Hunter attended St. John’s Episcopal School, Bonham Jr. High School, and Permian High School.
A natural athlete, Hunter enjoyed playing golf, hunting, fishing – as long as he did not have to touch the fish – baseball, soccer, basketball, and football. But after his first ice hockey lesson at 22 months, his life-long passion for the sport began.
Like most teenage boys, Hunter enjoyed spending time working on his truck. He and his dad spent countless hours customizing his pride and joy, and just spending time together.
If you asked Hunter about his hero, he would tell you about his big brother, Austin Cochran. Hunter was so proud of his brother, and wanted to be just like him. Hunter shared a secret language of laughter with his sister, Haley. All it took was one look and the laughter would begin. While Hunter only had two biological siblings, he considered his friends his brothers and sisters.
Hunter’s personality filled every room he entered, and he never met a stranger. From the breakfast crew at Chick-Fil-A to the group at Daylight Donuts, Hunter enjoyed visiting with people of all ages.
Hunter was greeted in heaven by his grandfather Tom Miller, Aunt Donna Pennington and cousin Arieol Tovias.
Hunter leaves behind his parents Tommy and Jill Miller; brother Austin Cochran; sister Haley Miller; grandparents Ralph and Brenda Hummell and Evelyn Miller; great-grandparents Rita Hummell and Ruby Terrell; Aunt Dawn and Uncle JC Anderson, Aunt Shelly and Uncle Lee Holsey, Aunt Vicky and Uncle Toby Tovias, Aunt Johnna and Uncle Billy Clements; several cousins; and many, many loved ones and friends.

Funeral service will be 2pm Sunday, October 12, 2014 at First Baptist Church.
Interment will be at Blackwell cemetery in Blackwell, TX.
