Teresa Rae Wilson. On a bright and sunny day at 2:00 pm on October 12, 1972 a baby girl graced this world with her presence in Odessa, TX. She was born to the parentage of Raymond and Cora Wilson and they lovingly named her Teresa Rae Wilson. She received her formal education from Milam Elementary, Hood Junior High and graduated from Permian High School Class of 1991. Teresa managed the track team of Permian High in her Senior year. She continued her education at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX for four years. She received her Bachelor Degree in Minneapolis, Minnesota in accounting. She also did her internship in marketing and merchandising. She was a member of the Rho Iota Omega Chapter of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, and a member of the Eastern Star. She was baptized in the summer of 1982 in Pledger, TX. She later united with the St. Matthew Baptist Church in Odessa under the leadership of Reverend Henry Lovelady. Teresa was an avid reader, she loved to color, go shopping, and especially working with numbers. Most of all she loved her parents, Raymond & Cora, who were the apple of her eye. She made her final transition from this earthly life into eternal rest on Saturday, January 14, 2017. Teresa leaves a lifetime of memories to parents, Raymond and Cora Wilson of Odessa, one sister, Linda Lewis, two nephews, DeShon Routte and Dwan Routte, and neice, Dquayasha Routte all of Odessa, and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends. A visitation will be held at 5:00 to 9:00 pm Thursday, January 19, 2017 at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, January 20, 2017 at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Services entrusted to Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
