Teresa Ragsdale

She was born October 15, 1931 in San Luis Potosi, Mex.

She met and married William E. Ragsdale on August 8, 1948 who preceded her in death on January 14, 1973. She started her own business in 1965 when she owned The Cedar Court Apartments in San Juan, TX. She married Artemio Gomez in 1977.

Mr. Gomez preceded her in death on December 12, 2004.She is survived by her four children: Dana Guereca, Sarah Ruiz, Charles Ragsdale and Angie Harvey. She had nine grandchildren: Jaime Tarango, Mario “Rick” Tarango, Laura Guereca, Javier Ruiz Jr, Sarah I. Ruiz; Crystal Ragsdale, Charles Ragsdale, Chad Ragsdale; and Ryan Harvey. She also had 15 great grandchildren.

A viewing will be held on Thursday evening at De Leon Funeral Home in Pharr, TX from 6-9 pm with a Rosary service at 7pm. Church services will be Friday morning at 10am, June 10th, at St John’s Catholic Church in San Juan, TX.

Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens, Pharr, TX. The family wishes to express a special thanks to Dr. J. B.
