Lee Earl Batie was born in Corinth, Mississippi on February 28th, 1953, to Roy and Hattie Mae Batie.
Lee was married to Estella (Cookie) Batie for 52 years.
Lee is survived by his wife Cookie, his daughters Felicia Finney of Amarillo, TX, Lebra Batie of Odessa, TX and son Prince Irons of Selmer, TN, brother Larry Batie of Odessa, TX, brother Rudy Batie of Selmer, TN, Stanley Batie of Houston, TX, Shirley Simon of Corsicana, TX, Dexter Batie of Austin, TX, Travis Batie of Odessa, TX, Billy Batie of Corinth, MS and David Batie of Fort Worth, TX, two uncles, one aunt, six grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Lee is preceded in death by his parents, Roy Batie, Hattie Mae Batie; daughter, Kenya Batie; and brothers Thomas Atkins and Charles Batie.
