She was born on December 8, 1929 in Merkel, TX and was a long time resident of Odessa.
Jean was a retired homemaker who loved to cook and travel. She especially enjoyed taking cruises and being at sea. She and her dearest friend, Robin Webb shared decades of travel adventures all around the world. She loved to explore new countries and experience as much as possible. Her zest for life and living it to the fullest were an inspiration to many.
She is preceded in death by her parents Jackson E. Parker and Dixie Parker, her two sons Jackson Blair “Rusty” Evitt and Patrick Mark Evitt and her daughter Amanda Marie Fulcher.
She is survived by her grandson Jamie Fulcher and his wife, Carrie of Spring, TX and her beloved great granddaughter Ashley Blair Fulcher of Spring, TX.
