Francisca was a devout Catholic and was a member of Our Lady of San Juan Catholic Church. Francisca was a guadalupana in the church and the group would take turns cooking and participating in other church activities. In the deepest sense of the word “mother”, Mom was our most precious gift from heaven. She had an unconditional love for all her family. She raised her four children and also took on raising two great-grandsons, which she deeply loved as her own.
Francisca loved vegetable and flower gardening. She took much pride in her beautiful plants, trees and flowers. Her spirit was likewise beautiful. She lighted up a room just by her presence and was a blessing to all.
Francisca will be greatly missed and it is with heavy hearts that we have accepted our loss, but her memory will live forever. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, November 21, 2002, at 10:00 am at Our Lady of San Juan Catholic Church, 905 Edgeport Drive, Odessa, Texas. Interment to follow at Ector County Cemetery.
